Our daily program is organized in the following way:
Check In (30 minutes):
During “check in” each client will be provided the opportunity to discuss their mood, current concerns, and any problems they may have experienced since the last session. Clients will also be asked to rate their levels of depression, anxiety, and anger which will help to lead the topics for the day.
Group Psychotherapy (60 minutes):
This group will be a discussion to support members in understanding their feelings. Additionally, while interacting with other participants, clients will have the opportunity to learn new ways to cope with their symptoms and share advice and experiences with others. Each psychotherapy group is facilitated by a Licensed Clinician in order to support each individual in gaining the greatest benefit from the session.
Psycho-Educational Group (60 minutes):
This group process is designed to teach new coping skills, educate on symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, improve social skills, and identify healthy activities and alternative responses to triggers identified. Psycho-educational topics will also include anger management, communication, healthy relationships, symptom management, conflict resolution, relaxation, CBT techniques, emotional regulation, journaling, safety planning, and more.
Wrap-Up (30 minutes):
During “wrap-up” each client will have the opportunity to discuss the day, the highest point of the day, and the most beneficial moments. The group members then disclose any problems, describe plans for the evening, and identify the coping skills they plan to use if they are triggered prior to their next session.
Medication Management and Individual sessions will be planned as necessary.
